CEO Bio
Larry De Palma moved to Tennessee in 2006 because he loved our ‘meat and threes’, and has a cholesterol level of 254 to prove it!
But seriously, he spent a year in corporate America as Executive Vice President of Nashville-based EFC Systems – the company that acquired his original consulting firm, The De Palma Group, and then decided that at age 40, he needed to be president of something, so he ventured back out on his own in January 2007 and formed TDG▪Phenix, Inc., a services and consulting firm focused on banking, treasury and payments. He currently holds the position of President and CEO, and now has a larger office high in the hills of Brentwood, Tennessee.
His career history includes 3 years at Chase Paymentech, one of the nation’s leading payment processors, where he managed a 130 million item ACH and electronic check product, and built and managed the Paymentech PINless debit product. In his spare time, he worked on launching the Shell gift card program, one of the largest gift card system conversions ever seen in the industry.
Before Chase Paymentech, Larry spent 7 years in the Treasury Services division at JPMorgan Chase, where he worked extensively with the Chase Insight treasury workstation product, was global training manager, and managed the Chase Trader foreign exchange product. Larry traveled around the world training Chase clients and internal colleagues on the various Chase cash management products.
A Certified Treasury Professional, Larry has presented at numerous NACHA events, AFP events and regional payment association conferences. He has authored articles for Digital Transactions and Transaction World magazines, and has been quoted in American Banker, Los Angeles Business Journal and the Bloomington Times.
